CAP’s presence in Pakistan is marked by multiple offices in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, with a commitment to broad outreach. Our organisation’s roots trace back to Karachi, where the head office, along with its digital archive, is situated—serving as the inception point of CAP’s journey. The Lahore office operates within the National History Museum (NHM), a museum curated and managed by CAP in collaboration with the Parks and Horticulture Authority. Meanwhile, the Islamabad office plays a pivotal role in overseeing various projects, particularly those within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) region.
Within CAP’s organisational structure, diverse departments contribute to its operations. These include finance and operations departments, as well as an in-house research department managing the Oral History Project. Additionally, we have a creative department focusing on producing public-facing outputs, spearheading ambitious local and international exhibitions that showcase CAP’s dedication to both cultural preservation and public engagement.
CAP’s is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of archivists and runs a robust internship program twice a year at its Karachi and Lahore offices.
